$FIN is the data token for financial data, bringing together private financial data across siloed institutions and making it available to traders and AI researchers alike.

The tokenomics are designed to incentivize high quality financial data contributions across a variety of different private data sources and allow the community to govern the dataset.

Token Allocation

DataDAO Rewards

The $VANA emissions earned from being a top DLP are primarily directed towards stakers and the $FIN/$VANA DEX pool. Distribution of $VANA emissions: 50% to stakers, 50% treasury, which is subject to updated in a future epoch

Data Access Burns

To access $FIN data, data buyers must buy and burn 80% $FIN, 20% $VANA in order to access the dataset. Data pricing is subject to approval by $FIN token holders via a DAO vote on Snapshot.
